EASTERN RAILWAY GROUP ‘D’ CATEGORY RECRUITMENT

Eastern Railway invites applications for the post of Group ‘D’ category. Here are the details of Group ‘D’ category Recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Eastern Railway has invited online applications from Indian citizens for the recruitment of Group ‘D’ category. The educational qualification requirement is candidate must have completed his/ her 10th class or an ITI certificate. The candidates should not less than 18 years of age and not more than 25 years.
Required Sports qualification : Sports person should have represented the country in any of the category ‘C’ Championships as team or Individual events (i.e. Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior category), Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category), and South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category), USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category)
OR
At least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
OR
Represented a State of equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country, in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships
OR
At least 3rd Position in Senior State Championships for all Units and Districts of the State.
OR
In regards Athletics (Men) under- 20 age group in Junior National Athletics Championship.
OR
In regards Kabaddi (Men) under- 19age group in Junior National Champion Kabaddi
Championship.

Selection Procedure:-

The candidate will be shortlisted for Interview on the basis of Marks in Exam. The final selection would be on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination, Interview or Group Discussion and strictly in the order of Merit.
